BRINGING UX DESIGN TO ARENANET

At ArenaNet I would contribute as a UX Designer within the Web Programming team.  As the first UX Designer hire at ArenaNet, my work focused on developing improvements on the user experience in preparation for their first expansion for Guild Wars 2.  

My responsibilities would include wireframing user flows, designing responsive websites, establishing UX best practices, optimizing the customer's e-commerce experience, and begin the UX initiative at a large game studio.  As momentous changes to the game's experience were on their way, advocating for our users became a priority.  Ensuring that the user experience was considered during new security, gameplay, registration, and purchasing changes required building partnerships with marketing, programming, customer service, and leadership teams.
